Last Saturday, when leaving a farmer's market in Seattle, I saw a man with a yellow-and-white snake wrapped around his shoulders and torso that was between 6 feet and 9 feet long and perhaps 5-6 inches in diameter at its thickest. I did some searching on the Internet (obviously) and could not find a snake whose description matched what I saw... until I saw your photo -- and that photo is the species of snake that I saw on a street in Seattle. Do you know the species of that snake? Is it a snake that is native to Japan? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, in advance, Jane
