@Damon Schreiber: Thanks! Charles Bridge in Prague, looking down on it from the tower at one end. Prague is really amazing - I took hundreds of shots.

Lovely! Are those things at the sides supports for the bridge during times of higher water levels?

@Evelyn: Hi Evelyn! Actually those things are to protect the bridge by deflecting big chunks of ice in the winter. The idea is to make them go through the gaps rather than hit the bridge's stonework.
